Exposing Plans of Fake Hausa Activists & Ba-Zata Mischief Mongers to Cause Confusion and Discord in Northern Nigeria (13)

• Why Do They Label Everyone Who Disagrees with Them as Fulani?
One of the most astonishing and irrational characteristics of the Pseudo-Hausas, the group referred to as the Unexpected Ones is that whenever they encounter someone who disagrees with their views or exposes the conspiracies they are allegedly plotting against society, they immediately brand that person as a Fulani. They do this even when the individual is, in fact, ethnically Hausa.
From that moment onward, they begin to harbor deep hatred toward the person, even if they have never met or known him personally. They insult him, curse him and fabricate false stories, attributing them to him without any evidence.
They deliberately engage in this conduct with the intention of inciting hatred and resentment against the Fulani ethnic group. At the same time, they seek to sow discord among Muslims and create hostility within the communities of Northern Nigeria.
In their lack of fairness, they assume that every person of Fulani origin is a terrorist, regardless of that person’s integrity, peaceful disposition or even if he has never harmed anyone in his life. They hold the entire Fulani ethnic group responsible for the terrorist acts committed by a small number of criminal Fulani elements. Yet, paradoxically, the same people often praise members of the IPOB terrorist group and Birom militants who have been responsible for kélling Hausas in Plateau State and other parts of what they refer to as the Middle Belt.
My question, therefore is: Can this truly be described as justice? How can an entire ethnic group be condemned for crimes committed by only a handful of its members?
Some time ago, a man named Salmanu Gwanzo, whom I strongly suspect belongs to the Hausawa Zalla Movement, challenged me. He accused me of defending Fulani terrorists and concluded that I must therefore be a Fulani too. This was my response to him:
Fear Allah. Show me a single article I have ever written in which I defended Fulani terrorists. On the contrary, I have been among those at the forefront of opposing the peace agreements being negotiated with them.
If you have never come across my writings criticizing them, then let me restate my position clearly today regarding every terrorist:
I do not support anyone who takes up arms to kill innocent people, regardless of who they are or what ethnic group they belong to (whether Arab, Hausa, Fulani, Igbo, Yoruba, Kataf, Angas, Birom, Kanuri or any other group).
Whoever commits a crime, whether minor or major; should personally be held accountable and punished for the offense he committed. However, the entire members of his ethnic group, who have committed no crime whatsoever, must never be blamed or punished for his actions.
The crimes committed by members of IPOB should not be attributed to the entire Igbo ethnic group.
The crimes committed by Area Boys should not be attributed to the entire Yoruba ethnic group.
The crimes committed by armed Fulani bandits should not be attributed to the entire Fulani ethnic group.
Justice requires that the authorities identify, arrest and prosecute only those individuals who commit crimes, not innocent members of their ethnic communities who have done nothing wrong.
I pray that Allah curses every terrorist, regardless of their ethnic background or religion, as well as everyone who supports them, applauds their actions or provides them with protection and encouragement.
This has always been my position and it remains my position today and forever.
