By Aliyu Adamu

World acclaimed playwright and literacy icon, William Shakespeare in his book “Macbeth” described world like a stage where an actor play his part and quit to allow others to take the cluster stage. Again in the same book, the writer added that “Valiant never test death even if he does, it is only once in life time.”
Another great playwright and Expert in classical studies, Robert Green in his Forty Eight Laws of Power, law number nine arrived that “Win through your actions, never argument.” The writer further added that any momentary triumph you think you have gained through arguments is really a phyric victory. The resentments individuals will you stir up is stronger and last longer than any momentary change of opinion. It is much more powerful to get others to agree with you through your actions without saying a word, demonstrate and not explicate.
On the other hand in every society, or communities, one finds or discover that some are more useful than others, as sometimes one discovered that a section of individuals may constitute a residence in their communities through their actions either daily or frequently.
However back to the basis of this piece which intended to beam to those who cares to go through this write-up a personality who is in his late 40’s but yet acts like one that is in his 60’s or 70’s, a group of age many seem to argue, that is edging closer to his/her graves, thus trying to promote better the lives of both the needy, the orphans and vulnerable ones in the society.
Interestingly, over a couple of years, the Deputy Comptroller of the Nigerian Customs Service, Dr. Tasi’u Sanusi Saulawa lives endeavored and perverse towards adding succor to many of his peers, colleagues, associates and above all his relations, that he has been in the forefront and in different ways and approaches and he is doing so without any doubt.
As a matter of reality Dr. Saulawa has sponsored more than sixty (60) orphans and numerous youths from disadvantaged families across Katsina and interestingly such groups were able to obtain Diploma and National Certificates of Education (NCE). In addition to that the unsung philanthropist has renovated and equipped his ALMATA the Nagogo Model Primary School were he provided one hundred sets of computers and accessories and teaching materials worth thousands of Naira.
Another intervention was in the area of empowerments where both youths and women across Katsina benefited from financial cash support by Dr. Saulawa to enable them stand on their own and become productive members of the society and also to transform their livelihood.
Besides that, the Deputy Comptroller of Customs Service, Dr. Saulawa took a bold move towards establishing a youths cooperative where more than 110 youths got elevated and supported in the year 2024 to become self-reliant in the society. That was done based on the dictum “Empower the youths and you empower their tomorrow that waits for no man.”
Infact, Dr. Saulawa has become a toast in the eyes of many not just his immediate families but his associates, nephews, relations, friends, course mates and colleagues as well as the larger society.
To this end, we extend our prayer to God Almighty to continue to give Dr. Tasi’u long life, prosperity and good health to enable him continue to render service to humanity across Katsina State in whatever position he happens to find himself in life
