General Buratai to Marry Off His Daughter Today

Yesterday being Friday, 10 Safar 1448 AH (July 24, 2026), the former Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, Ambassador Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, CFR (Rtd.), the Betara of Biu and Garkuwan Keffi, hosted family members, friends, and well-wishers as part of the ongoing preparations for the wedding of his daughter, Aishatu Tukur Buratai, to her groom, Umar Abba Zoru.
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place today, Saturday, by the grace of Almighty Allah.
The event is expected to attract the attendance of traditional rulers, senior military officers, top government officials, prominent business leaders, religious scholars, and other distinguished guests from across Nigeria and abroad.
