Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, returned to Nigeria today, Saturday, August 24, 2024, after a five-day official visit to China.
He was warmly welcomed at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by a delegation of federal lawmakers, party leaders, and family members.
In a statement to the press, Governor Radda expressed his delight at being back home after a productive working visit to China, which followed his annual vacation. He reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Katsina State, citing the warm welcome he received as a motivation.
During his visit to China, Governor Radda explored opportunities for collaboration and investment that will benefit Katsina State. He revealed that insights and agreements reached will accelerate the state’s development.
Addressing the recent bandits’ attack in the state, Governor Radda vowed to tackle the issue head-on, stating that he would resume his duties on Monday, ready to address the security challenges facing the state.
