UNDP Partners Kaduna Ministry to Build Peace in the State

Today 19th September 2023, the Ministry of Human Services and Social Development had a meeting with Nurudden Bashar Sale, a UNDP focal point coordinating the implementation of peace building fund project in Kaduna in partnership with kaduna state peace commission.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarise with the recently appointed commissioner Hajia Rabi Salisu and her ministry so as to join hands in ensuring a long lasting peaceful coexistence in Kaduna state.
The delegate congratulate the commissioner and commended her efforts in squarely discharging of duties, and presented her a souvenir to appreciate their partnership, he narrated that this partnership is a dream come true and merging of two formidable force to end conflicts and dispute then build a strong and concrete unity, love and togetherness within Kaduna State and it environs.
The delegate also affirmed that they have two programs to execute the first one being the Peace and security development and the second mental health and sanitation. These two programs are aimed at ensuring safe, clean and secure Kaduna State.
The honourable commissioner of Human Services and Social Development Hajia Rabi Salisu, accept with good heart and humble mind the delegate, his partnership request and the souvenir, She shows her immense gratitude to the delegate and the course of his actions.
She Futher added that her ministry will provide whatever assistance necessary to ensure that they achieve the best of what is to happen. Kaduna state are law abiding citizens and are willing to volunteer on whatever program that will promote unity and peace among them, and people are ever ready to take part in program whenever there is a need of participation. The commissioner added.
