TEARS AND BLOOD

Innocent hearts,
Blameless souls
Locked behind bars
Victims of cruelty
And wicked scars
A violation of rights,
A traumatic fate
Their childhood lost,
An inhuman state.
This is vendetta
Against the young
And free.
A callous system,
Blind to humanity
Poor judgment,
Poor leadership,
Are to blame.
For the suffering,
The shame.
Inequality reigns,
A harsh reality
Persecution,
Murder,
Arson,
A deadly mentality.
Atrocities committed,
Condemnable
And cold
Leaving scars,
That will never grow old.
Abuse of power,
Torture, and strife
Strangulation of hope,
A desperate life.
Injustice reigns,
A system awry
Where children suffer
And nobody asks why
Their cries unheard,
Voices suppressed
Dreams shattered,
Futures depressed.
Their childhood stolen,
Lives undone
By a system,
That’s unjust,
And wrong.
But still we hope,
For a brighter day
When justice reigns
And love finds its way
When children’s rights,
Are respected, dear
And their smiles
Bring joy
And banish fear.
Until that day,
We’ll stand and fight
For the freedom
Of these innocent lights.
We’ll shout their story,
From the rooftops high
We demand justice,
Until they’re free to fly.
Their voices silenced,
But not their souls.
Spirits unbroken,
But hearts still whole.
They’ll rise above,
This darkest night
And shine like stars,
In all their might.
But what of those
Who inflicted this pain?
Will they face justice
Or remain the same?
Will they learn
From their wicked ways?
Or continue,
To bring darkness
To our days?
The world watches
As this tragedy unfolds
A tale of injustice
Of hearts turned cold
We won’t turn away
We won’t ignore
The cries of children,
Who deserve more.
Let justice roll
Like a mighty stream
And bring relief
To this troubled dream.
Let love, kindness
Guide our way
And lead these children
To a brighter day.
