_______________

• The “Fake Hausa” Group and the Issue of Revenge:

Dear readers who have been patiently following this series, in this fourth installment we shall continue to shed light on some of the dangerous agendas we have observed among members of the so-called Hausawan Bogi/’Yan Ba-Zata groups, especially as they openly display them on modern communication platforms (social media).

Anyone who pays attention to these platforms will, without doubt, frequently encounter hateful and malicious statements from advocates of the Hausawa Zalla group. One of their stated aims is to establish this group solely to instigate conflict and hatred among the people of Northern Nigeria, particularly between the Fulani and the Hausa. Their primary objective is revenge and retaliation, targeted specifically at the Fulani.

In their attempt to justify this wicked agenda, one clearly hears them invoking the name of the Mujaddid, Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio, insulting and maligning him, while also fabricating false histories and attributing them to him. Mark you, he is not their major target but Islam in general. You will also observe that members of this so-called pure Hausa group constantly seek to incite conflict and hostility among Muslims. In their view, all Fulani people are terrorists and therefore the Hausa should rise up, take arms and fight them collectively.

And now the pressing questions therefore: Can there truly be any good in an organization that promotes such dark and poisonous traits? Is it really true that Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio (may Allah have mercy on him) sowed no good in Hausaland? And as they label all Fulani as terrorists because some few disgruntled individuals among them engage in kidnapping and terrorism in the region, are these criminal acts being carried out under the banner of Fulani organizations? Furthermore, is it just Hausa people who are being abducted and killed by the criminal activities of some rogue Fulanis?

We shall address these questions one after another, and by the will of Allah, we shall eventually come to understand the true intentions of those behind the Hausawa group – that they carry nothing but a potent poison and a conspiratorial agenda aimed at dismantling communities that have lived together peacefully for generations.

As for Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio (may Allah have mercy on him), there is no doubt that anyone of sound judgment, especially a sincere Muslim would never denigrate the Mujaddid. The Sheikh established a remarkable and commendable legacy in the Islamic world. The Usmaniyya Islamic Caliphate he founded over 200 years ago was the largest and most flourishing states in West Africa.

He revitalized Islam. He spread knowledge. He established an organized system of governance that was a source of pride for Black people, long before the arrival of the Europeans. He instituted a system of societal administration grounded in justice, discipline, and moral uprightness, one whose benefits are still being enjoyed to this day.

Dear readers, I will stop here for now. Until the next installment, God willing. Please continue to follow us patiently as we expose the malicious and poisonous angendas of the “Fake Hausa Activists” (‘Yan Ba-Zata).
