Ɗan Iyan Galadiman Katsina Emerges Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum

Today, Thursday 23-12-1446 (Hijri), corresponding to 19-06-2025 (Gregorian), Alhaji Shehu Musa Dankano was sworn in as the Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Katsina State chapter.
Alhaji Shehu, who holds the traditional title of Ɗan Iyan Galadiman Katsina, was sworn in by Barrister A. A. Ahmad along with his other executive members, following their victory in the election conducted by the forum on 12-05-2025.
In his inaugural speech shortly after taking the oath of office, the new chairman said: “I am calling for the cooperation of other leaders and members of this noble organization in order to bring about meaningful development to our people.
“As a focused and visionary forum, we will work hand in hand to foster development in Katsina State, the North, and indeed Nigeria as a whole,” said Alhaji Shehu, who is also a renowned mechanised farmer in Northern Nigeria.
Expressing his gratitude to all the members of the forum who elected them, Ɗan Iya Shehu urged the newly sworn-in executives to give their full support to the cause of advancing and strengthening the forum.
