IGABI AIR STRIKE: A Call for Justice
This is a call for justice and accountability against the air atrikes on Maulud celebrants in Kaduna State.
In a very sad event that has made many people across the country sad, the celebration of the birth of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) at Tudun Biri village, Igabi local government of Kaduna state had turned bloody.
It was reported in the media that a Nigerian Air Force plane bombarded the gathering that sent more than 70 people to their graves, and many others were injured.
The whole community is grieving for the lost of their loved ones. Therefore and it’s important for us to call for action and to see that the families of the victims get deserved justice.The lives of innocent
I also call on general people, more especially the well to do in the society to do everything we can to support.
We hereby task the Nigerian government to do a careful and thorough investigation into the cause of that unfortunate event. It’s crucial to find out the truth and make sure that those responsible for the bombing are punished occordingly.
The grieving community needs justice. Let the parpatrators face the consequences of their actions.
Besides seeking justice for the victims, it’s important for the relevant authority to find out why such a terrible thing happened. The safety and well-being of citizens most be secured. Steps must be taken to make sure that things like that never happen again.
The government should make sure that Nigerian Army and other security apparatus stick to their rules of engagement and avoid causing mayhem to innocent citizens during celebrations or lawfull gatherings.
This sad event has really affected our community. But we shouldn’t let it split us apart. Instead, let’s use this as a chance to come together in peace and unity. We should work towards creating a society where violence is never considered, where people talk to each other and understand each other, and where the value of human life is always respected.
